Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm in Charlotte is seeking Distribution Designers to design and redesign power distribution layouts for a major energy supplier. The ideal candidates will either have experience in power or utilities distribution or be fresh graduates eager to learn. Responsibilities include fieldwork, CAD applications, and compliance oversight. Qualifications

• Experience as AutoCAD drafter/technician in telecom, electrical, or utilities field internship or Sr. Capstone Project.
• Recent graduates with a strong will to learn and grow are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Design and redesign power distribution layouts for a large Energy Supplier.
• Coordinate maintenance, relocation, and new construction of the power grid.
• Conduct environmental compliance oversight and submit applications for permits.
