Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking qualified truck drivers for long-haul routes from Decatur, AL. Recent graduates receive paid OTC training with a driver mentor and paid orientation, plus strong home-time schedules.

Requires CDL A, at least 6 months OTR or regional experience, clean MVR and background, and ability to pass a DOT drug test. Duties include inspections, logs, and professional communication with dispatch.

Compensation: $1300 to $1500 per week.

Average weekly miles: 2500 to 3200.

Home Time: 2 weeks Over-the-Road and 2 days at home.

Experienced Driver: Must have 6 months of Over‑the‑road or regional experience to qualify for experienced driver.
Duties: Complete all required inspections.
Deliver freight safely and on schedule.
Operate a Class A tractor trailer on long haul routes.

Requirements: minimum age of 21 with a valid CDL Class A license.
