Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Plumbing Designer to design basic building systems and perform engineering calculations for multiple market sectors in Las Vegas. You will coordinate with project teams and contribute to drawings, reports, and designs while supporting site verification and continuous knowledge growth.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or 3 years of experience without a degree) and familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam Revu. FE exam is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 1 year of experience, or 3 years without degree.
• Basic proficiency in engineering design: knowledge of codes, design guides and standards.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu preferred.
• FE exam completion preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and design basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff.
• Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepares or modifies reports, plans, and designs for projects.
• Supports business development or pursuit activities.
• Participates in client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Occasionally visits job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
• Maintains knowledge of common industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office products.
