Job summary

Service Champions in San Jose is seeking an Entry Level Plumber to join a customer‑driven team. You will perform basic plumbing tasks, inspect water heaters, and address sewer and drain issues while delivering exceptional service.

The role offers guaranteed paid training at $20/hr to start, uncapped earning potential through commissions, comprehensive benefits, and a company vehicle for job use. Growth and ongoing training are emphasized.

Qualifications

Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of safe tool use and maintenance.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
Understanding of city plumbing requirements.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to fluently speak, read, write in English.
Team-oriented and supportive across business areas.
Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience and clean record.
Background check and drug test after conditional offer.
ServiceTitan experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently conduct routine home plumbing inspections, water heater flushes, and ensure proper water flow.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on water heaters.
Carry out minor repairs and installations.
Review Position Agreement for monthly expectations.
Lead setting for water heaters, water filtration, sewer laterals and home re‑pipe jobs.
Follow company quality and safety standards and city plumbing requirements.
Perform diagnostic repair calls as per company standards.
Assist clients by analyzing work orders, following travel schedules, and resolving problems.
Study system requirements, order components, and perform acceptance tests.
Cooperate with other departments to improve information flow and processes.
Keep tools, vehicle, and equipment clean and up to date.
Document work according to company procedures.
Participate in ongoing training and stay current with industry standards.
