Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. in Guntersville, AL, is seeking a Fabrication Associate – Entry Level to join our shop team.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:30pm, and you will set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication, measure and cut random pipe lengths, and move pipe within the yard. The role requires basic math, the ability to work safely with band saws and torches, and a team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong math to calculate quantities on hand.
• Experience operating pipe cutting/threading machinery per OSHA rules preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Inclusive, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
• Measure, record, and cut random pipe lengths.
• Measure, cut, roll and groove pipe; thread and bevel with Landis machines.
• Move pipe from yard and assemble orders in bundles.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, packing and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA and Ferguson procedures.
