Ferguson Enterprises in Alabama is seeking a Fabrication Associate - Entry Level to join our shop team. You will set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication, measure and cut pipe, and help prepare orders with accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills and the ability to calculate quantities on hand.
• Experience operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe per OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment and inclusive setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain shop machines for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
• Measure and cut pipe with band saw and torch; thread and bevel pipe.
• Move loose or bundled pipe within the pipe yard.
• Assemble pipe orders in sticks or bundles and organize supplies.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembly, stacking and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA and Ferguson procedures.
