Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Ashland, Virginia, seeks an entry-level Fabrication Associate to join our pipe fabrication shop. You will set up and maintain machines, measure and cut pipe, and assemble orders while adhering to safety guidelines.

No prior fabrication experience required, but math skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, inclusive team are valued. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with competitive pay between $15.61 and $23.41 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills and the ability to calculate quantities on hand.
• Experience operating cutting and threading pipe machinery per OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to remain results-focused in the fast-paced customer service environment.
• Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain shop machines for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
• Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch, and thread/bevel pipe.
• Move pipe in yard; assemble pipe orders.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and Ferguson SOPs.
