Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Team Member in Evergreen Park, IL to join our community-focused store. You will retrieve medications, input prescription data, process insurance claims, and help maintain accurate inventory while delivering friendly, patient-centered service.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, uphold confidentiality, and contribute to initiatives that improve patient health. Prior retail/pharmacy experience and strong math and organizational skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or state Retail/Community Practice eligibility.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Proficient typing and neat handwriting.
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills; teamwork.
• Attendance and basic math skills; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medication.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritize workload.
• Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy and confidentiality of patient information.
