Job summary

Meijer seeks a pharmacist to provide patient-centered care in a retail setting. You will retrieve medications, enter prescriptions, label, adjudicate insurance claims, and manage workflow while maintaining confidentiality and a professional pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities include stocking medications, promoting clinical services, and ensuring accurate paperwork. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
