Job summary

Pacira BioSciences, Inc. is seeking a technical microbiology specialist to provide QC/QA support in manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. The role emphasizes routine environmental monitoring and laboratory testing in a collaborative setting.

You will follow SOPs, maintain accurate records, and contribute to data interpretation and presentation. A BS in Microbiology or related life sciences is required, with ability to work 10-hour shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Microbiology or life science from an accredited college or university.
• No previous pharmaceutical microbiology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine environmental and systems monitoring in manufacturing and lab areas.
• Perform general laboratory experiments per SOPs to determine actions.
• Maintain records of experiments and results including calculations.
• Assist in data interpretation and prepare data for presentations.
• Assist in development of new procedures and/or documents.
• Maintain current technical knowledge aligned with company requirements.
