Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker to support sales, product and service activities in coordination with the customer service team.

The role aims to foster customer loyalty and grow sales to individual consumer clients from the Glendale, CA area. Responsibilities include handling small business lending referrals, cross-selling treasury and related products, and delivering excellent client service via calls and in-branch interactions while ensuring adherence to Citi policies

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Process small business lending requests under $250K and refer larger cases
• Build referral opportunities through COIs and MGM program
• Grow the small business client and implement sales plans targeting Book of Business
• Deliver client services via outbound/inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships through cross-sell
• Coach branch staff on products and programs, identifying client needs and providing referrals
• Educate clients on service options and digital channels and present product offers
• Adhere to Citi policies, standards and risk controls
