Job summary

Citi in Castro Valley, California is hiring an entry-level Personal Banker to support sales and customer service activities. You will help build loyalty by assisting with transactions, cross-selling products, and referring larger lending opportunities.

As part of the Branch Sales group, you’ll educate clients on digital channels, deliver excellent service, and ensure compliance with Citi policies while growing the consumer and small business client base. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing business credit requests under $250K and refer larger opportunities
• Cross-sell treasury and related small business products
• Grow small business and target Book of Business clients
• Deliver client services and outbound/inbound calls to acquire and deepen relationships
• Coach branch staff on products and programs and provide referrals
• Educate clients on services and digital channels and present product offers
