Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide CP function testing and non-critical respiratory care for patients from newborn to 21 years old. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to safe, effective patient care while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include conducting pulmonary function tests, educating patients and families, and participating in care planning with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication abilities required.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Must pass Windows Skill Assessment with 80%+ within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform spirometry, plethysmography, DLCO and pulmonary stress tests.
• Provide non-critical respiratory care and patient education.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families and document care.
• Participate in care planning and implementation; communicate effectively.
