BCWM is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and team-oriented Entry-Level Paraplanner to join our Wealth Management team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional who is interested in building a career in wealth management and financial planning.
The Paraplanner provides technical, analytical, and operational support to our Wealth Advisors, with a primary focus on preparing and maintaining comprehensive Wealth Management Reviews for existing and prospective clients. The position involves gathering and organizing financial information, preparing reports and planning analyses, maintaining client records, and assisting Wealth Advisors with client meeting preparation and follow-up.
The Paraplanner may occasionally communicate directly with clients and participate in client meetings in a supporting capacity, but will not provide financial or investment advice.
This position has no business development requirements and offers an opportunity to learn from experienced Wealth Advisors while developing the technical and professional skills necessary for long-term advancement within the firm.
Salary will be commensurate with experience (80% base and 20% production). The production component simply means this portion fluctuates quarterly (it is not a bonus, per se) proportionate to our top-line revenues, which are communicated to you. We financially encourage a "client-first" culture, focusing on teamwork vs. individual production.
Our successful candidate will also be eligible for up to an additional $5,000 annually in incentive bonuses based on objective goals for you individually.
We greatly value becoming eligible for and passing the CFP® exam. Upon passing, your compensation will increase at an annual rate of $10,000 retroactive to the date of the exam. We also reimburse costs associated with preparing for and taking the CFP® exam up to $6,000. Passing the exam is the first step towards an advancement opportunity to become a client-facing Wealth Advisor.
We currently match 150% of the first 6% of your 401(k) contributions, and often make annual, discretionary contributions to our Profit Sharing Plan. There is a 5-year vesting schedule on any employer contributions.
We currently offer group health, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance
Benefits, fully paid for by the firm.
