Job summary

Hildebrand Law Firm in Milwaukee is seeking an entry-level Paralegal to support one attorney whose practice covers estate planning and litigation. We will train you and value organized, careful, people-friendly candidates, even if you have never worked in a law firm.

You will handle client intake, draft estate planning documents, assemble litigation filings, manage the attorney’s calendar, and organize client files.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to draft documents under an attorney's name.
• Genuine comfort on the phone with clients and families under stress.
• Solid organizational discipline and strict deadline management.
• Proficiency with Word processing software and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Discretion handling deeply personal financial and family information daily.

Responsibilities

• Client intake: answer calls, gather information, enter new leads, schedule consultations.
• Drafting and document work: prepare estate planning documents and assemble litigation filings.
• Calendar and deadlines: manage attorney calendar, track filings and reminders.
• File and matter management: organize client files, track status, handle e-filing.
