Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking an entry-level Class C Lineman to construct and repair overhead electrical distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, as needed.

You will report to the Foreman. Responsibilities include constructing, maintaining and repairing lines, climbing structures, operating bucket trucks and other equipment, and supporting safety protocols in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of field experience.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Valid CDL."

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines and hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work at heights and around energized equipment.
• Operate and maintain overhead line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Participate in outages, storms, emergencies and on-call rotation.
• Perform live-line work using approved techniques.
