Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator I to support oncology-focused lifestyle and behavioral research studies. The role involves patient screening, informed consent, data collection, and coordinating protocol-specific activities across Miami-Dade and Broward counties, with travel to affiliated hospitals and clinics.

Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, Haitian Creole is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
• Certification and Licensing: CCRC, CCRP, or CCRA preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in research

Responsibilities

• Perform chart review/pre-screening activities for study participant eligibility and coordination of simple clinical research protocols.
• Maintain enrollment procedures according to the protocol.
• Coordinate routine activities of clinical studies including data collection and maintenance, planning study timelines, scheduling appointments and visits, meeting scheduling, and project evaluation.
• Perform moderate to complex research tests/experiments and adapt procedures for quality improvement under supervision.
• Observe and inform PI/supervisor of adverse events reported by study participants.
