BLURB AND BENEFITS

Responsibilities

  1. Document and perform work as outlined on repair order following all dealership and factory standards.
  2. Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters.
  3. Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
  4. Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
  5. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  6. Keep shop area neat and clean.
  7. Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
  8. Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  9. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
  10. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  11. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  12. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed.
  13. Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
  14. Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.
  15. Perform multi-point vehicle inspections.
  16. Use basic Honda Express Tech tool set provided.
