Mullinax Ford West Palm Beach Quick Lane in Lake Park is hiring an entry-level automotive technician to join a family-owned, growth-oriented dealership. You will follow repair orders, perform basic maintenance, and work with the parts team to keep vehicles moving.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service, with opportunities for technician training and career advancement. A valid driver’s license and willingness to learn new technology are required, in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on the repair order, following dealership and factory standards.
• Inspect vehicle and replace oil and air filters as needed.
• Check fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and adjust as needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Perform repairs efficiently and to dealership specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on the repair order, following all dealership and factory standards.
• Drain oil from the crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil; replace the oiland air filters.
  
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Operate all tools and equipment safely.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
