The role involves assisting with ingredient evaluation, developing balanced formulations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across pet food products. A strong background in animal nutrition and 3-5 years in a nutritionist/formulation role are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Food Science, or related field.
  • Master's degree in similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in a nutritionist or formulation role.
  • Foundational understanding of animal nutrition and feed formulation principles.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skill.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with nutritional analysis and evaluation of feed ingredients and pet food formulations.
  • Support development of new pet food products and balanced formulations.
  • Conduct research on ingredient innovations and nutritional trends within the pet food industry.
  • Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with nutritional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare technical nutritional documentation and support internal reporting needs.
  • Provide nutritional information and technical support to internal teams when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of formulation data and research findings.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to support product performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in field visits, trials, and product evaluations as required.
