Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for data entry and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience developing technical writings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
• Design and analyze safety and non-safety related electrical systems for commercial nuclear projects.
• Interface with mechanical, nuclear, operations and electrical engineering teams for design and consultation.
• Apply knowledge, industry best practices, regulatory guidance, codes and standards to ensure compliance.
• Perform engineering calculations for code compliance (lighting, volt drop, conductor sizing, panel heat generation).
• Generate wiring diagrams, single line drawings, loop diagrams, control specifications and data sheets.
• Perform checks to ensure accuracy of electrical design media.
• Work to assigned schedules ensuring timely and complete deliverables.
