Experis Technology Group in RTP, NC is seeking a Junior Lab Engineer to kick-start a hands-on networking career. The role focuses on configuring and troubleshooting network equipment in state-of-the-art global labs and collaborating with senior engineers on real customer cases.

You'll work with Cisco technologies, routers, switches, VLANs, and virtualization, using tools like IXIA, Spirent, VMware, Catalyst, Nexus, and XR products.

Qualifications

• Foundational networking knowledge (topologies, troubleshooting, VLANs)
• Hands-on experience with Packet Tracer & CLI
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• A motivated, self-starter who loves technology and learning
• Ability to work in a data center environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, ladder work)

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment in global labs
• Work closely with senior engineers on real customer cases
• Set up routers, switches, VLANs, and network segments
• Use IXIA, Spirent, VMware, Catalyst, Nexus, XR products
• Troubleshoot Layer 1 & 2 networking issues
