Job summary

G&L Tube LLC, a division of AeroFlow Technologies, seeks an entry-level NDT Technician Level I to support X-ray testing and quality control. You will learn to read technique cards, follow safety rules, and assist with inspections of complex castings in a team environment.

You will develop skills in x-ray interpretation, equipment operation, and record-keeping while advancing toward Level I NDT certification. Training on the job included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must complete Level I x-ray exam (general, specific, practical, physical).
• Ability to acquire Level 1 NDT certification and communicate effectively.
• 1 year manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow PPE and safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Read and follow technique cards; plan methods for assignments.
• Inspect and certify conformance of castings to requirements.
• Develop and/or approve complex x-ray shooting sketches and techniques.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform calibrations, and operate equipment.
• Complete records, logs, and reports to ensure specifications are met.
• Interact with customers and inspectors and work in a team environment.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices and perform other duties as assigned.
