Job summary

Acuren is currently seeking Entry Level NDT Assistants for a NESTED role in the Lima, OH area. This is a full-time embedded position with guaranteed 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM).

The role involves setting up NDT equipment, assisting radiographers, conducting inspections to detect defects, and documenting results. Ideal candidates may have a high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent experience.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• Technical background is desirable for this role.
• Must be able to pass background checks and comply with client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Assist Radiographers in calibrating NDT equipment.
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Record results of inspections.
• Assist performing NDT procedures and carry equipment as needed.
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
