Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, consulting, banking, public finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while contributing within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, structuring, and execution of municipal bond financings for Texas governmental entities.
• Develop and maintain financial models, debt service schedules, tax projections, cash flow forecasts, and bond sizing analyses.
• Analyze financial statements, operating budgets, tax rolls, valuations, and capital improvement plans.
• Evaluate debt capacity and financing alternatives for long-term capital planning.
• Review engineering reports, reimbursement requests, feasibility studies, and other financial/technical docs.
• Prepare financing analyses, client presentations, and transaction support documents.
• Coordinate financing activities with bond counsel, underwriters, engineers, developers, trustees, and printers.
• Assist with preparation and review of Official Statements and related financing documents.
• Support bond closings and post-closing compliance activities.
• Maintain financing databases, transaction schedules, and client records with high accuracy.
• Research municipal market trends, interest rates, legislative developments, and industry issues.
• Attend client and Board meetings as needed.
• Provide analytical and administrative support for special projects and strategic initiatives.
