Farnsworth Group is seeking an Entry Level Municipal Engineer to join our team in Illinois. You will focus on planning, design, and management of civil projects for water, wastewater, stormwater, and related municipal services.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) and have 0–5 years of experience, with FE/PE potential. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D is preferred, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• 0-5 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained.
• Experience with IDOT, MFT and local agency projects.
• Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D
• Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation
• Management, communication, and organization skills

Responsabilidades

• Manage, support and build relationships with clients and agencies
• Work with a variety of projects for municipal client needs related to water, sewer and streets
• Conduct field inspections, measurements or calculations
• Perform condition assessments
• Prepare and develop construction, design documents and plans
• Manage projects and programs from inception to completion
