Job summary

Ascension Federal Services Inc. is seeking an entry level Multimedia Graphic Designer to join our Tampa team. This role focuses on visual storytelling and applying solid graphic design principles across digital and print media.

The ideal candidate will build a strong portfolio, collaborate with marketing and product teams, and develop skills in multimedia production, social graphics, newsletters, and brand assets while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) or equivalent.
• Experience creating newsletters with BeePro or Stripo.
• Experience creating social media graphics, presentations, posters, logos and other promotional material using Canva.
• Basic knowledge of video editing and animation is a plus.
• Strong portfolio across multiple media.
• Good typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging graphics and multimedia content for digital and print media including social media, websites, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to develop creative concepts and design solutions.
• Assist in the production of videos, animations, and interactive media projects.
• Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.
• Prepare and optimize graphics for various platforms ensuring quality and performance.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve skills and output.
• Support senior designers and other team members with various design tasks as needed.
