Job summary

Augment in Galveston, TX is seeking dedicated Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Sorters to join our team. In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will identify and separate recyclables from a conveyor line, follow safety protocols, and keep the sorting area clean and efficient.

No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided; candidates should be comfortable in a loud, dusty environment, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to work flexible shifts including weekends and

• Must be able to stand for long periods in a loud, dusty environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• On-the-job training provided; prior waste industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually sort recyclables from a conveyor belt.
• Remove non-recyclables and contaminants to maintain high-quality output.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Report equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist with housekeeping and basic equipment cleaning.
