Augment in PEN ARGYL, PA is seeking an MRF Sorter to identify and separate recyclable materials on a busy conveyor line. This hands-on, fast-paced role supports high-quality output and efficient waste recovery in a manufacturing setting.

No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. You must be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, work in a loud and dusty environment, and be flexible for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous waste management, manufacturing, or warehousing experience a plus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually sort recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, glass, etc.) from a conveyor belt.
• Remove non-recyclable and hazardous materials to ensure a clean recycling stream.
• Identify and separate contaminants from recyclable materials to maintain high-quality output.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, high-visibility vests, etc.).
• Monitor the conveyor belt to prevent blockages and ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following housekeeping practices.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
