Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a Second Shift Lab Analyst in Lancaster, PA. You will perform analyses of bio/pharmaceutical ingredients, prepare standards, and run instruments under supervision to deliver quality, regulatory-compliant data.

The role requires a 3pm-11pm schedule, a Bachelor’s in microbiology or biology, and US work authorization. You will collaborate with a team, maintain records, and support GMP/GLP practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or related field.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Basic lab skills: pipetting, aseptic technique, media prep.

Responsibilities

• Support GMP/GLP-compliant laboratory operations.
• Review and prepare samples and reagents per SOPs.
• Document data clearly and accurately; maintain good lab notebook practice.
• Operate Windows-based software (Excel, Word, Outlook) and generate reports.
• Maintain a clean workspace; assist with equipment maintenance.
• Occasional overtime as workload requires.

Job Description

This position is Second Shift, Tuesday-Saturday

Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products; reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis and running any equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance; working efficiently; ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
• Demonstrates strong client service skills, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity, good laboratory technique, and high degree of accuracy and precision
• Perform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.
• Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
• Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
• Use MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email
• Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data
• Perform laboratory maintenance and maintain clean workspace
• Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or related degree concentration
• MUST have authorization to work in the US indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, Second Shift, Tues-Sat 3pm-11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
