Job summary

Clemco is seeking an entry-level Metal Fabricator I to support production in Washington, MO. You will learn Clemco's standard work under supervision, develop technical skills, and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

As you gain hands-on experience, you will perform basic fabrication tasks, assist with setups, and adhere to quality and safety standards in a clean, organized shop.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read simple drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to learn machine operations and setups.
• Ability to read measuring instruments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic fabrication tasks following detailed drawings and written instructions.
• Assist with machine setups under supervision.
• Operate fabrication equipment after proper training.
• Read and interpret simple drawings and work orders.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Maintain quality standards through careful inspection of work.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided).
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support team members to meet daily production demand.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
