Job summary

QTS in Bloomington, MN is seeking an entry‑level Production Operator/Assembler I to perform basic machine operation, inspection, assembly, packaging, and related support tasks across multiple production areas. This role will be based at the west Bloomington facility with 2nd shift from 2:45pm to 1:15am.

Responsibilities include visual/dimensional inspection, documentation, and cross-training across areas while following ISO/cGMP requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or cleanroom experience.
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, cGMP, Lean manufacturing, or workplace safety.
• Experience with microscopes or inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools.
• Complete production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Handle cleaning chemicals like isopropyl alcohol, detergents, or solvents.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and quality/ISO/cGMP requirements.
• Cross-train across manufacturing areas.
• Support Quality System compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes promptly.
• Inspect, assemble, and package components per customer specs.
