AllerVie Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering allergy and respiratory care. This entry-level role focuses on patient care, clinical tasks, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked clinic environment.

Under supervision, you will collect vitals, document data in the EMR, assist with tests, and help manage patient flow while upholding patient safety and confidentiality. 0-3 years of MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR systems
• Basic computer and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Responsabilités

• Obtain and record patient vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature and oxygen saturation
• Assist with allergy testing, spirometry, Niox testing, and immunotherapy under supervision
• Accurately document patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, including restocking supplies and cleaning between patients
• Support patient flow by communicating visit expectations and ensuring timely transitions
• Uphold HIPAA regulations and infection control standards at all times
• Perform other entry level duties as assigned by the clinical supervisor
