The University of Miami Department of Human Genetics is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant 1 to work on-site at the Biomedical Research Building in Miami, FL. Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant educational program recognized by USDE.
• Active MA certifications encouraged (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA) or willing to obtain within 12 months.

• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Record vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and document in the medical record.
• Prepare treatment/exam rooms and supplies as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete documentation.
• Order, stock, and inventory supplies and support clerical duties.
