RMH Reynolds Memorial Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff by performing basic nursing skills and coordinating patient flow. The role involves room preparation, patient intake, and assisting with exams and procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1 year of clinical experience, and BLS certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program or 1 year clinical experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Healthcare education coursework preferred.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets and escorts patient to exam rooms and obtains initial information and vital signs.
• Prepares exam rooms with attention to cleanliness and supplies.
• Assists with and/or performs exams, tests, and procedures.
• Schedules appointments and referrals as needed.
• Assists provider during examinations and procedures.
• Educates patients on follow-up expectations.
• Maintains quality control testing logs.
• Ensures medical equipment is in proper working condition.
• Assists patients with medical documentation completion.
• Performs office tasks including answering phones, data entry, deposits, and related duties.
