Job summary

Thermo-Tech Mechanical Insulation, part of the Installed Building Products (IBP) family, seeks a full-time Insulation Installer in Wausau, WI. No experience required; training provided. Starting pay range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

You’ll learn to install mechanical insulation on pipes, ducts, tanks, and systems on construction sites, work with HVAC and plumbing components, and maintain safety, quality, and organization at job sites near your home.

• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply techniques for installing mechanical insulation.
• Install insulation on pipes, ducts, tanks, and mechanical systems in new construction and remodel projects.
• Work with HVAC systems, plumbing systems and process systems; complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a safe work environment and keep job sites clean and organized.
• Complete basic job-related paperwork and coordinate with foreman.
