The Naval Nuclear Laboratory at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory site in Niskayuna, NY is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to review mechanical and plumbing calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications for building and site infrastructure construction projects.

You will perform construction inspections, participate in production meetings, develop and review construction cost estimates, and interface with facility sponsors, architect & engineering firms, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field (or Master's degree).
• Experience in construction or consulting engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with NYS Building Code, ASHRAE and ASME.
