Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer for our Brooksville, FL facility. The role focuses on improving plant safety, capacity, efficiency, reliability, and the work environment for operations staff.

You will assist with mechanical design, capital projects, and integration of equipment, collaborating with operations, maintenance, controls, automation, and other engineering disciplines. This onsite role offers growth within the CRH family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, machine components, fabrication methods, and manufacturing equipment.
• CAD experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts, BOMs, and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist capital projects from concept through installation and turnover.
• Support mechanical design for manufacturing equipment and plant layouts.
• Create and revise mechanical drawings and BOMs using CAD software.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, controls, and safety teams.
