Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a Design Liaison Engineering team focused on annular Hot Gas Path components. You will analyze, disposition, and resolve hardware deviations on complex turbine parts through close collaboration with global manufacturing partners.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, working across cross-functional teams to drive manufacturability, quality, cost, and reliability improvements in rotating machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, global engineering organization.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities based on evolving business and manufacturing needs.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, materials, and coatings.
• Understanding of GD&T and the interpretation of drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, disposition, and resolve hardware deviations on complex turbine components.
• Support global supply chain and manufacturing partners.
• Apply core mechanical engineering principles to manufacturing challenges.
• Contribute to short-term hardware issue resolution and long-term design improvements.
