6AM City, LLC in Eden Prairie, MN seeks an Entry Level Mechanical Assembler for a contract-to-hire role with weekly pay. You will build mechanical and electro-mechanical products from drawings and work instructions, ensuring quality and safety in a climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, inspecting assemblies, and participating in Lean initiatives. First shift hours and a supportive team culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of assembly or production experience preferred.
• Able to read and follow work instructions and drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and a team-focused attitude.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic devices in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components and finished products.
• Read and interpret electronic drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Use hand and power tools and fixtures to complete tasks safely.
• Prepare materials through drilling, sanding, cutting, painting, and fabrication activities.
• Rotate between workstations and production cells for cross-training.
• Maintain inventory through daily cycle counts.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including Kaizen and 5S.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
