You will perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, maintain records, and work in a safety-conscious shop. A valid driver’s license and willingness to learn are preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and preventative maintenance.
• Preferred hands-on experience from work, trade school, or personal projects.
• Ability to safely use common shop tools and equipment.
• Willingness to learn from the lead mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead mechanic with diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, tire rotations, basic inspections.
• Complete basic repairs under supervision.
• Assist with suspension repairs as directed.
• Perform brake service and repairs, including inspections and rotor/pad replacement.
• Keep accurate records of services, repairs, parts used, and vehicle condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and proper tool care.
• Follow safety procedures and vehicle-maintenance standards.
• Identify maintenance needs early to reduce downtime.

SERVPRO is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Entry-Level Mechanic to support our lead mechanic with the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is building their automotive or light‑duty mechanical career and wants practical experience in a fast‑paced environment.
