Job summary

Applied Materials in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Material Processor, Level I, to support incoming inspection, unboxing, assembly, labeling, and guided quality checks on AMAT parts. The role offers hands-on training and a clear path into QC with potential advancement within quality and production teams.

Starting as a hands-on, entry-level position, the role emphasizes reading drawings, following work instructions, and maintaining safety standards on a climate-controlled, non-remote manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; and/or 1–3 months related experience, tech school, cert, or training; or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, safety rules, maintenance instructions, procedures.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and electrical power tools.
• Close vision, color vision, and depth perception for detailed inspection.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inspection, assembly, labeling.
• Reliable, punctual transportation with team attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Incoming Inspection & Outside Processing (with supervision).
• Unboxing, Assembly & Finishing tasks as per work instructions.
• Quality Inspection & Handoff to QC/Shipping.
• Learning & Development through on‑the‑job training for AMAT products and inspection criteria.
• Build proficiency in reading drawings and work instructions.
