Job summary

Mezzo Technologies, based in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks an entry-level Manufacturing Technician I to join a team that builds precision components for advanced microtube heat exchangers. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with tools, equipment, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform precise, repetitive manufacturing tasks accurately and consistently.
• Willingness and ability to learn specialized manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality inspection methods.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to completing assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to recognize potential problems, communicate concerns, and seek clarification when necessary.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn electronic work instructions and production documentation systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations including component preparation and precision assembly per procedures.
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and technical documents with guidance.
• Use hand tools, fixtures, and equipment safely and accurately.
• Assist with inspection and testing of in-process and completed components to ensure quality.
• Learn to use precision measuring instruments for dimensional verification.
• Support material preparation and organization to maintain efficient operations.
• Receive training in specialized processes (adhesive bonding, laser welding, tubing operations).
• Report quality concerns or deviations to supervisors.
• Complete required manufacturing documentation and reporting accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and seek additional work or training opportunities.
