Job summary

180 Engineering is seeking a Process Engineer to analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance continuous flow processes and equipment in Pine Hall, NC. The role is on-site with relocation assistance for non-local candidates.

You will learn machine functions, become a subject matter expert, and drive SOP improvements while leveraging data, PFMEA, and Six Sigma tools to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical and/or production processes, quality assurance, and Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Materials Science Engineering preferred).
• Flexible, people oriented and able to work in a team environment.
• Possess strong and demonstrated analytical and decision making skills that foster developing creative solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment – strong ability to multitask complex projects efficiently.
• Ability to support operating goals and to execute process improvement projects, including the ability to define, develop, and document requirements.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point required. Access, SQL and Minitab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize problem solving and statistical tools (such as A3 and Six Sigma technique) to resolve processing and quality issues.

• Participate in the development and execution of equipment installation and operational qualifications to achieve expected process capability.

Process Engineer:
