Job summary

Hertz Columbus HLE is seeking a Management Trainee to develop the skills needed to run and grow a Hertz branch. The role offers a structured path with an emphasis on customer service and sales growth, within a Friday–through schedule of 8:00am–5:00pm. This position provides opportunities for internal advancement and comprehensive benefits.

The trainee will learn operations, people management, and sales techniques while contributing to branch performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have sales and/or retail customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable driving different types of vehicles.
• Proficiency in English.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive customer experience and contribute to Hertz being the top car rental brand in service.
• Achieve individual sales goals and customer service targets.
• Grow sales using business-to-business strategies.
• Support branch operations by assisting management.
• Maintain car presentation standards for customers.
• Keep facilities clean and maintained to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensurepositive customer experience, making Hertz #1 in car rental company experience
• Reach individual sales goals and customer service goals
• Growsales utilizing business-to-business sales tactics
• Support branch’s business plan by assisting management
• Uphold company standards by ensuring cars are presentable to customers
• Clean and service facilities to ensure customer satisfaction
