Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital - Fenton is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to perform imaging services. You will operate mammography equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS.

Cross-training is available and full-time staff receive tuition benefits for additional certifications. Required: Radiology Technology program completion and ARRT-R; ARRT-M Mammography within 12 months of hire; BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• ARRT-M Mammography certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment and performs related procedures.
• Prepares and positions patients and selects parameters.
• Explains procedures and educates about preventive breast health.
• Maintains image quality and submits images to PACS.
• Ensures equipment function and reports malfunctions.
• Maintains a clean and safe department environment.
