Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Maintenance Trades Helper to support skilled trades under an AbilityOne contract. This entry-level role assists journeymen by supplying materials, cleaning work areas, and performing unskilled tasks under close supervision.

Work is onsite at customer locations; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and adapt to varied environments. The position is non-exempt and pays $25.81 per hour, with standard full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of work experience, preferably in construction or maintenance.
• Ability to follow instructions on labels for proper and safe use of tools and equipment;

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of lesser skilled maintenance duties.
• Assist journeyman by supplying, lifting and holding materials or tools.
• Performs unskilled tasks as directed by a journeyman.
• May perform specialized machine operations.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
