Job summary

A property management company is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Joliet, IL. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion.
• Assist in property preventive maintenance plan.

Skills

Proficiency in maintenance tasks (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting)

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently

Effective communication in English

Education

High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
