Qualifications

• Troubleshooting during machine and tool repair.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Notify supervisor of issues affecting cost and timing.
• Able to measure and machine parts to print tolerances.
• Expedite machine/tool repairs with vendors.
• Adjust schedules to changes in resources (personnel/equipment).
• Notify supervisor to replenish departmental supplies.
• Ability to push 200+ lbs on wheels.
• Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Set-up and repair on new and existing machinery.
• Assists Mechanics during large overhauls and day-to-day work.
• Continuous learning of safety, machining, welding, rigging, and repair techniques.
• Assists in facilities maintenance as required.
