Job summary

Linetec in Reed City, Michigan is seeking a Maintenance I on the 2nd shift to perform preventative maintenance, lubricate machinery, replace worn parts, and inspect production equipment under supervision.

You will troubleshoot and repair systems, use basic tools, read blueprints and work instructions, document findings, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations in a facility with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–10 years in maintenance, including mechanic apprenticeship time.
• Ability to read measuring devices and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Always follow safety procedures, including lock out-tag out and confined space.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating machinery, and replacing worn components.
• Assist with the troubleshooting and repair of production and facilities systems.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, welding, light duty electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Operation of light and medium duty industrial equipment.
• Develop knowledge of equipment, procedures and mechanical systems.
• Accurate documentation of work completed and related findings.
